Frequently Asked Questions
How much time does the practice ask each day?
Ten to twenty minutes is plenty. The Daily Cup is designed to fit inside a real morning — before the coffee is finished, before the inbox opens. Longer sessions are always available when your day has room for them.
Do I need experience with meditation?
You are welcome exactly as you are. Every practice is guided, every term is explained, and the path begins wherever you are standing today.
Which traditions inform SageWork?
Our practice draws from the warmth and companionship of the Plum Village mindfulness tradition and the spacious view of Dzogchen — the recognition of what is already present. Everything is offered in plain, welcoming language for everyday life.
What happens after I join?
You receive immediate access to the member portal, your first Daily Cup, and a gentle orientation that helps you choose where to begin. From there, the path unfolds one day at a time.
How do the Gatherings work?
Several times each year, we bring the practice on the road — a few unhurried hours of sitting, walking, tea, and conversation with the SageWork Circle Community in cities along the tour. Members receive first invitation and gather at no additional cost.
